Eric Nichols Joins Harney ESD
Harney ESD has a new Director of School Improvement Services and Director of Technology

Eric's role is to help schools to improve student achievement while assisting in coordinating, promoting, developing,and planning of instructional leadership that supports instructional strategies, lessons, techniques and activities that meet a variety of student needs. He will assist districts in training, modeling, and helping teachers to integrate technology in the classroom to improve student achievement.

Eric received his schooling at Boise State University, University of Idaho, Northwest Nazarene University, Grand Canyon University, University of Oregon and Concordia of Chicago University. He taught at both Meridian High and Mountain View High School in the largest school district in Idaho and has been in Harney School District 3 for the past ten years; 7 years as a teacher and 3 years as Director of Assessment and Technology/Principal. Eric is proud that he helped lead Hines Middle School from school improvement status to a school of excellence (5 out of 5) in just 2 years.

Eric's family consists of his wife, Andrea; his son, Carter; two daughters, Kendal and Tatum; and they are expecting a new addition to the family in January.
