Mission

The Mission of Harney Education Service District is to assist school districts and the State of Oregon in providing excellent and equitable educational opportunities and successful learning environments for all Harney County students.

Harney ESD is dedicated to providing leadership in helping to achieve Oregon's education goals and working in partnership with schools and our community to enhance the healthy development of children and their families for today and tomorrow.

What Harney ESD does for our schools and community

• Partners with educators to enhance the classroom learning experience for ALL students in Harney County
• Participates with agency programs to strengthen family structures for a healthy community
• Provides computer networks for efficient classroom and business operations of all our schools

As required in House Bill 3184, Harney ESD now provides services through Local Service Plans.
